Anyhow, not much really to report per se, but a few thoughts I guess...
- Feeling kind of bad that I ended up missing my last two weeks of work before maternity leave (Friday was technically my last day of work for a whole glorious 13 months!) Since I ended up missing those weeks, I'll have to plan to go in next week or the week after to tie up a few loose ends, but technically I'm on mat leave now so that's a nice feeling.
- This morning I am officially 36 weeks or 9 months pregnant. This always confuses people because nobody seems to understand pregnancy math they use these days which actually puts pregnancy at a full length of about 40 weeks which is 10 months not the traditional 9 months that most people know of. So when I tell people I'm 36 weeks, unless they've had babies recently themselves, they always think that means I'm due TODAY. Anyhow, it's a bit of a milestone, into the last month of pregnancy. Our little guy will be 'fully cooked' as of next week - exciting stuff!
- My mind is spinning with last minute baby stuff - need to pack my bag for the hospital, gotta finish up the odds and ends in the nursery and must, must, must get cooking some meals for the freezer. Yikes, lots to do and think about - wish I had more energy these days.
- I think I've finally come to terms with the fact that I'm probably done running for this pregnancy. I made it into my 34th week, but now with being sick for the past few weeks and basically having done nothing for that duration, I doubt I'll be back out pounding the pavement any time soon. I fully plan to keep up with brisk walks and things like that, but I think I'm letting go of the idea of running anything soon. I'm just pleased that I made it as far as I did - although I've definitely gained a good amount of weight, I really think staying so active helped my body distribute it nicely - I'm not nearly as fat and grotesque as I thought I might be!
So yeah, that's about it for now. Hopefully now that I'm starting to feel a bit better, I'll become a bit more productive around the house and actually be able to make use of my holiday time before the baby comes. Hopefully I'll also be up and checking my email etc more often! Thanks to everyone for the well wishes while I've been sick.

13 months maternity leave?!?! That's awesome, I'm jealous! Enjoy it, the first year goes by so fast!!! Congrats on running up to 34 weeks, that's very impressive!

Glad you're feeling better and best of luck when it turns into baby time! All that running will sure help you when you really need it!
I'm flabbergasted by 13 months of leave as well! Is that a personal choice to take a year off of work? Does your work offer that? Or is this another perk to being Canadian? Please, please elaborate!
